The End

death

No blood anymore, I’ve not a heart that can pump.

Dead long before I even lay in this dump,

The last drops they had shed in violent disgust,

With a blade that’s baked with old blood and rust.

A resilient gut puts on a last weak stand

And blood, like all else, did now disband.

I count the morbid hours, alone in wait

Dark shadows, it seem, have taken the bait

For they hook me now to the spangle of the dead

And drag my corpse for the vulpine to be fed.

I bid you farewell, for the end is now here,

Better a sordid death, than breaths of fear.

Silver line

silver path

Silver paths aglow in the night,

Hallow the journey lit by moonlight,

Loose is the wind; heavy and drunk,

In the abyss of dark, all has sunk.

In the midst of commotion,

She glides like a notion

That creeps quiet into a pensive mind,

And moves out before one can a reason find.

Her words ring like wind chimes,

Her voice, the sound of sweet rhymes,

Often at night, she breaks into a dance,

Imperfect rhythm but lyrical romance.

With time, she grows restless,

Her heart and mind listless,

She awaits a known cold breeze,

To let once her suffering cease.

Clamour

Girl-silhouette-in-the-middle-of-the-forest-with-open-arms1

Tonight  the mirror of the skies,

Will fill the sight of her hazel eyes,

Even the clouds offer a soothing cover,

Hushing quiet her amorous power.

The winds stand guard, they let not a whisper,

Guileless, yet they err to kiss her,

The skies rebuke; spread a dark pall,

Slowly yet mightily – a darkness envelops all.

Her smile calms the deathly dance,

Suddenly the skies have fallen in trance,

Her eyes lit up as the moon reappeared,

And slowly the hazy night skies are cleared.

Washout

stand_in_rain

Eyes have run tears for hours at end,

Soaked in showers that heavens still send,

I stand for long beneath her sill,

As thunders explore to break my will.

Lights stay on, the rooftops pour,

My thoughts now bleed, but ask for more.

Flashes have dimmed down the worldly lights,

She walks, now stands, clear in my sights,

She looks down at me with certain despise,

Mauling me there, plain, with her eyes,

I know not the count of time that passed,

For certain I know of bounds trespassed.

She knows she’s guilty, yet stranger to shame,

With anger she binds fluid curses to my name

For I stand here now; answers I seek,

Of treachery that crowned in hearts of the weak.

We speak not a word, our eyes left to balk,

Rain gods in thunders and pours will now talk.

I move away now, there’s no more to tell,

This rain has stripped me of memories of her smell,

No more will words try to reason long fights,

No tests, no curbs, on withheld rights,

It was fair that love, with pain be composed,

I carry neither now; expelled and exposed.

Summer shower

1243108093B2YbKbY

A patter awakes me, I rush to the sight,
Millions of love drops descend ere night,
Monochrome skies now show a thousand hues,
Of God’s work or His palette, for  better works to choose.

The hour of magic has descended, beauty no more cowers,
Drenched walls now coyly bear love marks from His showers,
Indolent trees sway in dance, and follow fields of crops,
Insolent winds, now gentle, hold and caress treetops.

Soil; it found love first, when showers swung by,
Mellow perfumes it lilts now, as sweet alibi,
Flowers glow in envy, look skyward with unease,
Droplets fall on petal lips; an attempt to appease.

With memories that hearts, may in rain only see,
At a distant patio, a heart dances in glee,
Tyrant rain gods; they play no fair game,
As another heart writhes, in memories of a name.

Slowly the light falls, the romance is still,
Melodies of trickles, will pauses now fill,
Winds swing by once more, with promises to keep,
Stroking earth’s forehead, into somnambulant sleep.

Hope..

fullmoon-051908-2
Tonight the skies are radiant with hope,
Clearer and closer than ever before,
To touch, at once to feel the glow,
One light to route out the dreary dark.

Starry eyes do once more see,
Lost souls in the heaven’s eye,
A closer look, and in the light can be seen,
The soul of hope is as dark as your own.

It’s solace, no doubt, knowing that we
Draw hope from a source as human as us,
With flaws it cannot hide for long,
Yet unfailing faith, unbiased, unsung.

When my soul oft stirs in alleys of doubt,
I gaze at the crystal ball of the Gods,
For a period even as brief as my mind will let be,
Immortality, in my realms I can see.

Death

when_death_comes

A blanket of dark has covered the night,

Streets asunder with traces of light,

Fog lamps in halos have shadows cast

Spotlights for specters that speak of the past.

Winds of silence, blow past the street,

Voices that whisper matters discrete.

The calm is now broken, of the night supreme

Fear into the hearts, blares an eerie scream.

Pulses now race, eyelids now balk,

Ears lie await for winds that talk.

Footsteps are heard, death walks here,

Spines tremble in morbid fear.

The tempo now rises, hearts skip beats,

The wave has passed, away from the streets,

Maleficent spirits will walk once more,

Paths then awash with phantasmic gore.
